General Service Technician -- All Locations

Mid-Atlantic Waste Systems is a leading distributor of top quality waste and recycling equipment; seeking service technicians that are energetic, self motivated and can work independently.

Job Duties:

Mechanical aptitudes in hydraulics, welding/fabrication, electrical, CFMs of airpower, vacuum pumps, and water pressure pumps. Opportunities exist in a shop environment and/or field service. Looking for candidates that are committed to ensuring outstanding service by creating an environment that is focused on providing an experience that exceeds customer expectations.

Sales Trainee -- Pennsylvania

Job Duties:

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following:

Primarily be a Product Specialist. Requires Knowledge of Machine Operations as well as parts and service. Trainee must be capable of demonstrating product; CDL required.
Establishes and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction. Communicates to and works with the Outside Sales Manager to resolve unique customer issues.
Effectively manages prospects by developing sound marketing plans and maintaining key information in the prospect database.
Uses in-depth industry and company knowledge, prepares complex proposals and makes recommendations on equipment optimization and leasing options.
Proposes customer solutions that are compliant with appropriate local, state and federal regulations.

Education and Experience:

Required: Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university or 5 years sales experience with at least 3 of the 5 in direct business to business sales in lieu of a bachelors degree. Experience in business to business cold calling, and phone based business to business prospecting resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments. Computer literacy a must.

Preferred: Bachelors degree in Sales with Mechanical Knowledge or 5 years in direct business to business sales, business cold calling, and phone based business to business prospecting resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments. Ability to prospect, indentify and qualify accounts in need of equipment is necessary. Strong organizational, communications, and relationship building skills are required for success.
